Hump Day

The Above Photo was taken 80yrs ago. My Dad is 14 and sitting on the right. I have been told that they are celebrating my Great Grandparents 50 anniversary. My Dad turned 94 on January 27th.... Click on the picture to make it bigger

Well today I got a Jury Summons for the Grand Jury. I also sent them a e-mail I hope I can be excused. We have way to many things going on right now and I can't spend my time worried about Federal Court. Besides it's in Fresno. I guess they pulled the permits today to get started on the garage. It has been raining a lot in Portland ans it may snow Friday. I am thinking about getting an appraisal on the house after the garage is built and seeing if i can get the PMI taken off the payment. It would lower our monthly payment $85. I well have to wait and see.

Sunday

Here I sit waiting for the coffee. I did some searching last night for 5th wheels and found a few that would meet our needs. But I need to sell "Star" before I can do anything. The internet is a wonderful thing.
Alex called last night and said he went Ice Skating for the first time and enjoyed it. NO broken bones so it was a success.
Our crazy RV friends from the Monster Mash group made it back from Quartsite sounds like a good time was had by all. Maybe if things workout right we can go next year.
It is fast becoming time for us to start selling thing on Craigslist and going through our "Stuff" getting ready for a huge garage sale before we move.... I am to the point now where I lay in bed at night with my head spinning about things that need to be done and where our adventure is going next.... Coffees Done......

RV Show

Today we went to the RV Show and looked at all kinds of Motor Homes and 5th Wheels... They had some really nice 5ers. But they were out of league as far a price goes. We have pretty much decided that we want a 5er with a bed that goes North South and not one that goes across and to look for one that you can get to the bathroom with out moving the slides. We saw one that was awesome it was a See Ya 30' 5th. But the slide out had to be at least 4 ' and with that much of a slide it would be hard to get into most sites. We both liked the Titanium I am going to see if I can find a used one on line.....

I am not complaining mind you just stating a fact. We have had a good steady rain for 2 days now and are expecting more.
Today the contractor called that is building the garage in Tennessee and he is going to get started as soon as the weather breaks back there. It is going to 18 X 20 and have 2 windows and 1 36" Man door and a 8x7 garage door... (My Choice)...

I have 5,616,000 seconds or 93,600 minutes or 1560 hours left until I retire but who's counting.....

Great Weekend

Well we had a great weekend at Pismo Beach. The weather was semi warm during the day and chilly at night. I am upset with myself though I never got a chance to take a picture of the sunset and the day I remembered it was cloudy.... What a joy though... It is roughly 500 miles there and back I wonder how many miles it will be to Myrtle Beach... We want to go there once we get to Tennessee but will miss our friends here. We are both so torn ... But we are going to start our adventure and see where the lord takes us.....

Lost In The Sixtys

I am listening to "A Summer Place". Doug helped me with my computer and backed everything up for me to my external hard drive and I found all the music I had for got about. Yesterday was a great day of relaxing... Beautiful weather Shelia took a walk on the beach wondering if it would be the last time we do that! I guess we have to start looking at things like that. Kind of weird to think that way..... The things we are starting a adventure in our lives and we have to look at it that way and remember the past as WOW..... We will be back to California to visit family and friends that is for sure and we hope family and friends will come and visit us also.. I would post a picture from yesterday but Shelia did something with the camera and she is asleep...... So I will post a picture of our house in Tennessee....

Day Six

Today is going to be nothing but a relaxing day. It is cold but thats to be expected this time of year. But here at Pismo it should warm up real nice. I talked to the builder in Tennessee yesterday and he is going to get started on the Garage (weather permitting) next week. It is getting closer and closer as the days DRAG by..... I have to decide on where I want to post my pictures so I can put them in the same place every time. I also would like to be able to post a description in the same place..... The picture I am going to post today is from when I went to Tenn in December it is the area where the garage is going to be built... It will be on the grass area beyond the concrete slab....

Today was a good day at work. I am trimming trees until I retire and I have this uncontrollable smile on my face. (So my fellow workers say). Dinner is almost ready. So I better end for now.
